My name is Robin and thank you for visiting my Dr. Sears Health Coach site! If you’re looking for ways to improve your health and wellness, you’ve come to the right place! Awareness is the start of taking control of your health and research has shown your body has a remarkable capacity to heal and keep healthy if we feed it what it needs. But with so many programs and diets flooding the market, it can get confusing and I’m here to help you with a few simple changes!

This nation is facing a true epidemic of chronic disease such as obesity, diabetes, heart disease and strokes all of which can be delayed in onset if not prevented entirely with what we eat and I’m here to help you with that!

Beyond Meal Planning Class

In this class... we'll cover the basics and help you get on track with your weekly meal planning. Simple label reading and making your shopping lists along with healthy meals your family will love. This class is taught by a Dr. Sears Certified Wellness Educator and is filled with practical solutions for parents or soon-to-be parents about how we can improve our health and the health of our family with a few simple changes!
Date & Time: 6:00pm on the third Tuesday of each month
Cost: $10.00 per person (or $15 for this and the Solutions for Your Picky Eater! class combined)

Water

Drink at least one half your body weight in ounces everyday. This is important to flush the toxins from your body and keep you well hydrated. A simple method to determine how much you need to be drinking each day (if your weight is 160 lbs then you need 80 oz of water) fill up a container and pour out of that all day until you finish it. Remember that soda and juice do not count but you can add lemon or lime slices for a fun taste!

Solutions for Your Picky Eater! Class

In this class we'll give you the tools to deal with a picky eater...

Are you hearing "I don't like it" before they even try it? This class will go over how you can shape your kid's tastes at an early age and get them eating like a "Super Hero"!

Date & Time: 6:45pm on the third Tuesday of each month
Cost: $10.00 per person (or $15 for this and the Beyond Meal Planning class combined)

Exercise

It’s very important for your body to get regular exercise. This not only speeds up your metabolism but makes your brain work better by releasing stress and you will get a better nights sleep! Just 30 minutes a day, 5 days a week is all you need to start. Block out this time on your calendar to ensure that you make time. Take your walking shoes to work and walk for half of your lunch hour, or it’s a good way to de-stress at the end of the day.

More than 20 million children are obese and 50% will remain obese into adulthood.
1 in 6 children suffers from some form of allergy.

Autism rates have increased 6,000% in the last 20 years.
1 in 2.5 children will be diagnosed with cancer.
1 in 2 children born in the year 2000 will be diagnosed with type 2 diabetes before their 30th birthday.
